Bregenz, Stein am Rhein, Meersburg, Lindau, Constance, Mainau – Lake Constance awaits you with stunning places and exciting history – including with prehistoric pile dwellings. Don’t miss out on a boat trip with the “white fleet”. The absolute event highlight at Lake Constance is the Lake Festival in Bregenz.
Innsbruck – capital of Tyrol (1 h)
The golden roof, the Hofburg, Ambras Castle, the Nordkette cable car, the Alpen Zoo – Innsbruck is an Alpine jewel with many attractions and sights. And where else can you sit in a café and watch ski jumpers training – on a ski jump that provided the lift-off for the Olympic Games and World Championships?
Royal castles – like a fairy tale! (1:30 h)
What a fabulous tour! You will walk in the footsteps of the enigmatic King Ludwig the Second of Bavaria, who dedicated his life to art and culture – and had the fairytale castle of Neuschwanstein near Füssen built. The neighbouring Hohenschwangau Palace with the Museum of the Bavarian Kings is also worth a visit, as is Ludwig’s idyllically situated Linderhof Palace.
Meran – palm trees & snow-covered peaks (2 h)
When the mystique of the south meets the magic of the mountains... South Tyrol is unique with its mix of Italian and Austrian culture and landscape. Among other things, the visits of Sissi, Empress of Austria have secured the reputation of South Tyrol’s capital Meran as a legendary must-visit destination. Its Art Nouveau buildings and terraced gardens lend Meran a special flair. And an Aperol Spritz under the palm trees with a view of the snow-capped peaks is a must.
